On behalf of the Vinco Group Ltd, Zerum submitted an application addressing two separate but linked developments. The site is currently a converted and extended dwelling used as a care home and stable block associated with the previous dwelling.
The plot addressed two streets within the Lark Lane Conservation Area. The proposals provide a conversion of the existing care home back to residential accommodation providing 15 apartments. The stable block is to be demolished and replaced with a new build apartment building that includes accommodation for 42 apartments.
The Falconer Chester Hall-designed scheme will provide a contemporary development along the prominent route into Liverpool which includes on-site secure parking, residential gym and mix of apartment types.
The two schemes are linked by landscaped public realm within the middle of the plot providing opportunities for residents to enjoy the gardens.
Following the grant of consent, the client sought to revise the proposal to residential accommodation for the over 55’s. A new planning application was prepared and submitted by Zerum and planning permission was secured.
