On behalf of Victoria Mills Developments Ltd Zerum prepared and submitted a full detailed planning application for Phase II of the Milliners Wharf development in East Manchester.
The application comprised a mixed use development comprising, 144 apartments split over two buildings and an A1 Retail Unit, with associated car parking, access, servicing and landscaping.
The development is ideally located immediately adjacent to a Metrolink stop, for easy access into the heart of Manchester or further afield within the Metrolink network.
Construction of the scheme was complete in 2016 and represents another step in the delivery of the East Manchester Strategic Regeneration Framework. It makes a positive contribution to the wider East Manchester area. The scheme represented significant investment that acted as a catalyst for further investment in the area. The development created a positive statement as to what can be achieved in New Islington.
Discussions are ongoing related to Phase III.
