Zerum advised on the planning strategy and led negotiations with Council officers to gain their early support and ultimately planning and listed building consent
Highlights
- In Manchester’s Northern Quarter which includes numerous listed buildings and a conservation area
- Following extensive fire damage in 2008, the site comprised half of a Victorian, Grade II listed textile warehouse; the rest had been demolished
- Scheme involved modern reinstatement of the building, together with the sensitive restoration of the central stair core
1,800 sq.m of offices and 615 sq.m of commercial floorspace created
