Zerum was instructed by Jackson’s Row Developments Limited from the outset of the project. Having assisted the City Council initially in preparing a Strategic Regeneration Framework for the site, Zerum project managed the planning process including advising on strategy, coordinating the preparation of the planning submission and engaging with stakeholders and third parties.
- Premium-quality development comprising new public spaces, 181-residential apartments, 18,660 sq.m of Grade A office space, a 5* hotel of 191 beds, a boutique hotel of 29 beds, a synagogue and 2,111 sq.m of restaurants, cafes and bars
- Development will create a new defining landmark for Manchester, making a strong statement in architecture and setting new standards in design and quality of accommodation, which will reinforce the city’s position nationally and internationally
- Scheme attracted significant attention and, working as part of the project team, Zerum played a major part in liaising with stakeholders and interested parties to shape the development into a proposal which secured planning consent, including defending a judicial review challenge
- Zerum continues to be involved in the delivery of the project and has project managed the project throughout
